Nice, but i'd like to see how the landing is preformed if you got some video of that aswell. Hehe i'm rebuilding a 20 year old biplane powered by a Enya 35-4c and was thinking of putting some floats on it, thats why i need some info. Btw how much does your plane weigh?

I had the part of the flight up on the tube but took it down because of low number of hits. The water landings are the best feature of this plane....Never measured the weight but it is heavy probably 15 pounds with the floats. A 35 4-c would never fly this plane but the 70 does a good job.

you are the float master. I am going to need some instruction the next time I attempt flying a float plane.

I don't have all the secretes when it comes to float flying but here a couple off the top: More power rather than less is best and start your take off run with lots of back pressure on the elevator stick and ease off when it comes up on the step. Landing reduce power and let it descend until its a couple of feet off the water, slowly add up elevator and attempt to land on the rear portion of the floats (land nose high). Good Luck with your flying.

Very NICE BiPlane. Those are the same floats I am considering on getting. I was wondering if those would fit on my C.G.Ultimate10-300, & now, because of this great clip, I am sure they'd fit.I should have no problems, if I wanted to cover these floats?

Thanks! The floats are by C.G. and were intended for their Cub. I was concerned at first that they would not be big enough for this large a model but, if I add lots of up elevator before coming up on the step I can avoid the bow wave from hitting the prop. Once on the step the elevator back pressure can be relaxed. The floats are not covered, only epoxy and paint over the balsa wood.
