western people don't know history of Islam, but they still want to show that like they know everything. in fact, Prophet Mohammad was first person who freed an african slave named Bilal. when Islam came, the slaves were freed one by one, no one destined to be a slave except the slave of God (Allah). @AFRICA4AFRICANS I'd like to point out that African between African slavery was much different than that which the Europeans did. In Africa when you were taken a slave it was usually only for a few years. You were then allowed to return to your tribe and/or marry into the tribe that had taken you. You were never born into slavery and slaves were treated mostly as second class citizens rather then being beaten and worked to death.
