A poem, "A Still Cup", by Hafiz, the Great Sufi Master
People, don't throw out the proverbial "baby with the bathwater".
You can get rid of religious dogmatism, without removing God from your life. In fact, I dare say, when you do, God will fill the empty space left inside. Forget everything you "think" you know about God, and start fresh, with a Still Cup.
From the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary:
Main Entry: dog·ma·tism
Pronunciation: \ˈdȯg-mə-ˌti-zəm, ˈdäg-\
Function: noun
Date: 1603
1 : positiveness in assertion of opinion especially when unwarranted or arrogant
2 : a viewpoint or system of ideas based on insufficiently examined premises
Music by: B-Tribe, "Sketches of St. Antoni", from the Spiritual Spiritual CD
Here's a funny thing...for some people, if you simply use the word "God", they immediately begin to make all kinds of assumptions that you adhere to a certain "dogma". God is a Word. When I use the word "God", I use it in the most liberal sense of the word possible.

no serpent in that cup? yet lol
the trouble i find with dogma (another baconian anagram) is that it always seems to relate to metaphysics or other such imagination prision. Too true you cannot throw out the baby with the bathwater but an uncommon dogma(word really makes me laugh) is a dogma none the less ;) Thanks for sharing
