No if I knew to ask that I would have I thought this young lady did a great job telling us what goes on in one video. Couldn't cover everything. I am sure that you would be the one to do videos on this subject. You are around horses.
Thank you so much for your comments

The way she says "um" all the time reminds me of Fluttershy, from My Little Pony :)

One of the reasons I hate racing is because of horses being sent to slaughter. They work hard earning you money and instead of getting what they deserve going to live out in a field they get shipped away to be slaughtered.
As for the foaming at the mouth, It is completely normal. It does not mean they are stressed! Every horse I own foams when I ride them. It means they are chewing on the bit and relaxed. Chewing on the bit is normal not a sign of stress. Most every horse does it.

Not really, its pretty subjective....
actually if you're interested, where my friends live a lot of Amish people come to buy the horses that can't race anymore...so there are good people out there, just not enough :)

PS: you dont see horses just foaming in the mouth in the middle of a feild do you... does that mean they are insanely freaked out... like they are going to kick a baby they are so scared just standing there..... no the foam comes from sweat... obviously those horses were going TO the track not coming FROM the track so! this means they were STRESSED OUT... when ur stressed... you sweat... when horses are nervouse they chew.... (stress=sweat)+(chewing=fricti
on)=foam -
Glozell.... she told you the horses were foaming becuse they were relaxed.... come on seriously? People in the horse industry take advantage of city folk becuse they belive anything that they are told..... the way this chick was talking saying "stuff" happens she is just trying to cover her ass so she dosnt get fired.... i am 16 JUST TURNED 16 in november!!!!! I was raised around these type of people... i do what i do becuse people LIE and hurt horses for money i do what i do so i can save lives

I aprenticed with an equine vet so i know how to properly worm, give shots, cure colic, i know how to stich up wounds, wrap their legs, clean scrapes, and over all know how to tell when a horse isnt feeling well and when they need a break from training or when they dont want to go for a ride. horses are unlike any other animal they are very much different and if you know how to respect them you can create the best bond you could ever imagin..... my best friend is my my mare i have had for 10 yrs

Also there are plent of human soc. you can volenteer for... that are out on ranches where they have a vet a natural horseman ship trainer and volenteers that love animals and just want to help it is a wounderful experience. personaly i am blessed enough my family has the funds that helped me getting my dream started.... not i am 16... and i am working and running my own business. i went to farrier schooling so i can shoe all my own horses... which takes off one expence and (tbc)
I used to ride a rescued racehorse. After a lot of patience and training he's happily teaching little kids of how ride :)

New Holland, PA has a huge horse auction business. So sad. There are wonderful organizations that try to rescue horses from this awful fate. I have friends who have rescue horses who with tlc become healthy and solid companions. That is my dream, to someday have a small farm and nurture horses until they are ready for new homes.
