  • I am pontus greek this people are muslim pontus. There Grandfathers were greek.

One day we will dance all togehter in peace.

Maybe we will dance togehter at the black sea/Pontos Euxinos you called it today Karadeniz all togehter or we will dance in heaven together.

We have the same the same roots. The only that is cutting us is the religion and the passport.

I have many brothers in Anatolia and black sea peace to all people who dance serra and akcabat

  • @yilmazemre61 my friend you make a real mistake, if you talk about trabzon you must ask yourself who build the city? Who bould all citys at the black sea? After 1923 there were no pontus people there, because they escape to greece but many of them live today there and get the turkish passport! This people are pontian-muslims. But the goverment deny the affinity with greeks.

  • My ancestors and many others was from the last Rum who stay in they re homeland, dont change religion and language and fight until last minute. They dont start this war they protect themselfes and theyre houses against people who have sick ideologies and nothing to do with black sea, pontos. If the Neo Turkish organisation let the christian Rum in peace this time today they were still peaceful living in karadeniz. U dont know what they do cause you cant know but I know this from first hand.

  • In Pontos until 1461 live Rum people, like the Greeks called themselfes at Byzantine time and Laz people in the east side arround Rize up to Georgia. Circassians come after in 1800 when the Russian make problems to them, and many Rum go at this time to Georgia or North black sea cause they have pressure from Sultan to change religion and languages. Other Rums change religion, other Language and stay in Pontos. Real Turks in Pontos was a small number, most of them was turcisized Rum or Laz people

  • Many of this Turks was already mixed in time they come in Anatolia with Persian and then they mixed more with Greeks,Armenians and other Anatolians who convert to Islam.Big number of population goes to Islam at one, many cities or villages at all, so we have Ottomans in big number which have 0% turkish genes. At 1200 the Mongols make an killing expedition and killed many of this Turks cause they have mixed up theyre blood.Turks Greeks and other Anatolians fight at this war together against Mongols

  • @zicco26

I see you are logical and have knowledge. What I read, and believe is a bit different. I grow up in Germany and have some turkish friends, dont think I know about Anatolia and modern Turks only from books. Today I know a Rum from Trabzon feels same Turk like Selcuk from a place in inside Anatolia. But ethnically you are more ancient Anatolians than real Turks. The turkish tribes in time they come in Anatolia have a number of half million, all Anatolia 20million.Many of them was mixed

  • @PAOKBOY10 We don`t look at the matter from just a regional perspective but from a general one. Turkey is like a monolith. Greeks always criticize the role of the ethnical Turks, but they are not just the majority but also the titular nation. And this majority is not just living beside the numerous other ancestries like Pomak, Circassian, Kurd etc, we are highly interlinked by crossed marriages, too. Another reason why everyone is regarded a Turk, somebody who is part of our country.

  • @PAOKBOY10 You overestimate the number of Greeks who stayed in Turkey after the great wars when pontic Greeks left to Greece. Even before the war, there were living ethnical Turks, Greeks, Circassians, Laz, Georgians. It was Multi-Ethnical and not just Greek like you try to suggest, even before the Greeks left. In general, dividing Turks into their ethnicities is impossible and the attempt is dumb and dangerous. How would you react when somebody would try the same with todays Greeks

  • @montaninio If you talk about Turks in the ethnical meaning of the word you can be assured that the vast majority here are descendants of the Oghuz Turks. But when we say Turk today we mean every single one forming our society, regardless the ancestry. The reason of the name is primarily historically founded, since the impact of the Oghuz is the reason why people here are called Turks. The outcome of this process of the history formed a state, like in Russia, Britain, Germany etc.

  • it dosent matter what we are in blood,to have heard is important and does the human. But if you talk about history than it must be correct and exact.Today Greeks and Balkanians have not many turkish dna, a very small group. Today Turks have a very small number of turkish gens too.Cause you are ancient Anatolians and in ancient Anatolia live many Greeks too from 1200 B.C. All the coast and 300 km inside country was in many cases Greek settled, lot of Turks today are grandchildren of this people
