'The Ghost of a Hurricane'

The ghost of a hurricane is coming down my lane
He's kicking up the dirt and lifting up a lady's skirt
He's mischievous but polite
He is dead but full of life
He's the ghost of a hurricane

The mother of the shaking earth is giving birth
She is shaking us to the ground
She is getting down
She's temperamental though full of grace
She is in your face
She's the mother of the shaking earth

While here I sit and smoke on the sands of dreams
While here I sit and wait in the in-between
On the sands of dreams
In the in-between

The child of a tidal wave is making its way
Across the parking lot in a puddle by the shop
Unnoticed so young of age
So small, small but full of rage
It is the child of a tidal wave

  • Awesome song!

  • @UnsignedMusiciansRS Thank you so much!!

  • Excellence production, I like the originality of this work. It brings me kind of sensation and passion that delivers a kind of wilful thinking, mystical and yet irresistable. Very profounding in the video making too. Stay cool always.

  • @piperon Thanks for the great review piperon!! Peace!

  • nice

  • This is great stuff..so original and yet reminiscent of simpler times.

  • RIP Mr. Gurske. He was my History teacher for my sophmore year (2010-2011)

I just talked to him a couple days before school ended

  • Great job guys... make sure it all gets released!

There are only 2 (recent) albums that I have ever worked on that didn't involve Bob to a greater or lesser extent. A lot of time over more than a decade (1991-2003), it often felt like he was literally an unseen band member.

  • Since I now live in upstate NY, I haven't talked to him for about a year (and then by phone to congratulate him on the Tusko Fatale reunion). I was so excited to send him the latest album master that I am finishing up in the next week... I just knew he would have been proud... Now it will carry a dedication.
