Splatterhouse 3 Intro

This is my personal playthrough of Splatterhouse 3 for the Sega Genesis System. This game is the third installment of the Splatterhouse series, a serie that was under heavy fire from the anti-violence video game lobbyists at the time. It came out in Japan under the name "Splatterhouse Part 3" and then in America as "Splatterhouse 3", I like the latter better personally.

This is the introduction: After saving Jennifer at west mansion, Rick settles down and starts a family. They live in a mansion(Who knows how they can afford it) with their young boy David when one day, the terror mask comes back to Rick in a dream, it's back, its all back. The house has been taken over by monsters and ghosts, every room twisted into a bloody shadow of it's past self. Rick must don the Terror mask again to save Jennifer and David!

Hollywood would ruin a movie of this like they have every other video game they have gotten their hands on. Resident Evil, May Payne, Final Fantasy, etc.

Movies based on games suck, and games based on movies suck too. Except for GoldenEye. that was awesome. everything else sucks.

When I was 8 years old I begged my parents to let me rent this video game. I insisted it wasn't too violent or scary for me. At 0:14 - 0:24 during the intro I ran out of my bedroom in terror and never played any of the game the rest of the time we had it rented.
