  • 南無帰依仏南無帰依法南無帰依僧

    Such a beatiful American accent.

  • No, Tibetans don't inherantly have a higher cosciosness. They are humans like ourselves. What works for them could work for anybody.

  • For cvondavis: Thank you for your good comment.

  • The Tibetans have a higher consciousness.

  • Bodhicitta is bodhi-citta-utpada (the manifestation of the awakened Mind). This is the Buddhist version of kundalini in which we become aware of the pure Mind than continually animates us. Heretofore, we were overly focused on the corporeal body. Bodhicitta thus marks the first stage of the Bodhisattva (= bodhi-spirit) that culminates in Buddhahood eventually.

  • I've the urge to stick up for the Sakyong in regard to this post. I know few people that work as hard and constantly as this man. I would request anyone that thinks SMR doesn't have a real job to look up his schedule or to attend a program with him and you will see that he MOST DEFINITELY has dedicated his life to others and works tirelessly on their behalf. I've never met anyone that works as much as he does, and never have i met anyone who works as hard for others.

  • thank you for posting this. it opens doors. we are our thoughts and what we focus on we become.
