It's really annoyed me how anybody could of "disliked" this video, because the lighting is just so good! Argh I wanna punch the little 11 year old kid grrr! Great work though mate.

Looks great. We are working on a 2D game with XNA. This feature might look great in our game.

that's awesome. Once question I have is how does the engine/graphics manipulator know that the light source is behind the pillar when It's 2D?

@KowaiTori Because entities are positioned in a 3D spatial system.

Thanks for the comments. Actually I'm not working on a real game yet, but I would like to work on it for the next year.
