Video of the first "VIP" trip on the newly reopened Greenbush Line of the MBTA's Commuter Rail on Boston's south shore. Video is of the train entering Weymouth Landing/East Braintree station on its way outbound to Greenbush, one day prior to regular service. A second train followed which was open free to the general public.
my family and I rode on the train today from Beverly to Newburyport with loco 1052. It as weird seeing that loco on the northern line.

I was so happy when this line opened!! No thanks to those ***holes who live in Hingham who fought tooth and nail to prevent it from happening.

Maybe one of them broke down or something so one provides the power while one provides the HVAC, etc.

Sometimes they run doubleheaders.

they aren't new. They are F40s that are 20 years old. They just repainted them for the occasion because it's not every day that a new line opens.
