Class oe 2010 #10 - Brock Morton set the all time scoring record at Holland Hall Prep school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At the 2008 Adidas 64 National Tourney in Las Vegas, while 16 yrs old, he connected on 15 of 23 three point shots and led TEAM OKLAHOMA in scoring in each game.
Now, Feb. 2010, 12 lbs heavier, 3" higher on vertical jump, he is on "HOLD" with several college programs. Looking for the right D-1 fit.
Ted Owens, who coached Kansas Jayhawks to two NCAA FINAL FOUR appearances, said this about the 6'5" Morton:
"Ive had an opportunity to watch Brock Morton play over the last 4 years and he's a very fine player. He has a great feel for the game, excellent decision maker, handles the ball well, very good 3-point shooter and driver with an uncanny ability to get offensive rebounds. He just has really good basketball savvy."
Coach Owens has been working Brock out, and helping him find the right college system.

Current Holland Hall head coach Brad Shelley says this about Morton:
"Brock is a terrific all around basketball player. He is a long and skilled guard who shoots the three with accuracy. He is one of those kids that when he misses a shot, you are actually surprised. He is an excellent passer and a has a great feel for the game. This year, Brock became our schools all-time scoring leader. This feat is amazing especially because of his pass first mentality."
Shelley added, "He makes players around him better by getting them involved early and often. He has great practice habits and is always looking to improve his skills. Brock is a terrific player but he is an even better person. He is an exceptional captain and team leader. In my opinion, he is a cant miss for any college coach." - Brad Shelley, Holland Hall Head Basketball Coach

If you know an NCAA coach or assistant coach, pass this video along; This recruit is going to make some coach look brilliant!

Former Holland Hall coach Sparky Grober coached Brock during 9th, 10th and 11th grade. A starter every year, during Brock's sophomore year he moved the tall wing to point guard midway through the season. The DUTCH ripped off 5 straight victories behind the pt guard wizardry of Morton.
Grober played college ball for legendary Oklahoma State and US Olympic team coach Henry Hank Iba. In fact, Grober was the Captain of Iba's last Oklahoma State squad. Grober told the Tulsa World newspaper that "Brock is a player," Grober said.
"He's fun to watch. He can do it all. He does intuitive things you can't coach."
Grober went on to say, "Right now, he's under the radar for colleges, but somebody is going to get a very nice player."

Morton earned a 3.5 GPA & besides looking for the right coach, a good business & entrepreneurship college is important.

If you are an NCAA coach and would like to see Brock play a full half , or complete game, please send an email or call the numbers on the video. Thank you!

This 7 minute video features games from 2008 Kingswood Classic [Houston], Adidas 64 [LasVegas], and high school season. Brock erupts for 21 second half points, sparking a great comeback against the South Texas Stallions who held a 39-24 lead early in the 2nd half. At one point, Morton scored 13 straight points for his team. Morton typically has a "pass first" attitude, but his AAU squad played him strictly as a #2 guard and so he did what the coach expected. Against Louisville's Derek Smith All Stars, with Rick Pitino in attendance, Morton led all scorers with 28 points. He showed excellent anticipation with steals and deflections as you will see on the video.
For his Holland Hall high school team, Morton did a little bit of everything. He consistently would draw defensive attention and find the open teammate and led his very young Dutch team to a 21-4 record including knocking off the top ranked at the time METRO CHRISTIAN squad, before riding Morton's 28 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to an upset of STATE CHAMPION to be, the Cascia Hall Commandos.
Jim Cox,Hardwood Productions said Morton will make a fine catch for one lucky NCAA coach.

The humble Morton finished his career as the ALL TIME LEADING SCORER, and 2nd place in ALL TIME REBOUNDING and three point shooting.
