In this episode I discuss the global shift in the prominence of Christianity, Islam, and other religions from western countries to their southern and eastern counterparts. The discussion is a review of Phillip Jenkins book, the next Christendom. Is religion dying? It appears that in most "western countries" religious belief is on the decline but the same can simply not be said about the rest of the world. What implications will religious growth and change hold over countries in Africa, Asia, and elsewhere? -you decide.

I can see a decline in organized religion happening. Basically more people are looking within for spiritual guidance, rather than to the churches or to religious leaders, which I think is a great thing.

Christianity and Islam are vying for dominance, meanwhile a new religious cult is growing by leaps and bounds which attempts to dilute Christianity and Islam into a melting-pot religion along with Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca and many other faiths along with Quantum Mechanics and the power of positive thinking. Christianity and Islam are LOSING the battle. Atheism is also growing in great numbers globally.

Haha, no worries, just to be clear the authour isn't claiming that religion is dying but rather that the global prominence of religion is shifting and will continue to do so -that's what this video was about. Cheers mate, I appreciate the input.
