Released as a single around May 1955, but it did not chart in Billboard. However, a version of the song by the Ferko String Band did chart at #14 in June 1955 (#20 in the UK). This song had earlier charted at #2 in September 1915 for Arthur Collins and Byron Harlan. Red Foley charted at #28 in December 1951 with his version (#3 on the Country chart).
Written by George L. Cobb and Jack Yellen.
B-side is "Tuck Me To Sleep In My Old Kentucky Home".
