@KAD132 Do you think they are there to "keep the soldiers" warm? They are soldiers themselves, equal to the men. Many of the commanders are woman. This is an ancient Kurdish "tradition". Of course in the bigger picture, most of our soldiers are men, but we got a very high % of women soldiers, especially those who are with the PKK and PJAK. They are not soldiers actually, but freedom fighters, volunteers, extremely brave.
