  • What angle do you sharpen all your utility blades to?

  • Most come at 18-20 degrees. I almost always reprofile them to 16-17 degrees.

  • @BLUNTRUTH4U how do you reprofile yourself

  • @zimbabwecornchip

    Gatco.

I have sharpening vids on that.

  • "A little bit more effort than some knives like the ____3."

    What knife is that?

  • Ya, I kinda mumbled that, ha?

RC-3 (by Rat Cutlery), it did the best one cardboard of all the knives I tested to date.

  • very concise, unbias, IN DEPTH reviews, coupled with the practical applications. So far, i have yet to find better reviews, and each under 10 calories(minutes ha ha).

And it's also a plus when you get someone that sounds like you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley, you know, someone who could rip your arm off, then beat you with it, ha ha.

    Friggin sweet.

  • I think you did a great job with the knife. I also like doing minor mods with my knives. Mostty right now I'm experimenting with jemping. Thanks for sharing your vid.

  • at of all the knives you tested what did best on the wood

  • Hey Blunt, could you tell me what kind of wood you use in your tests?

  • AMAZING VIDEO!!!

  • only one of your vids i seen that you didnt stab the block at the end, i knew that was coming, delecit tip for a "Hard Use" blade

  • you're the best reviewer Blunt ! You say it like it is and i love that ! Others can not say anything wrong of there favourite brands and that is so annoying...it's like having the most perfect women on earth...neither she or the perfect knife have ever been made.

Thanks ! going for the new para 2 now it's for sale

  • Steve, I hope you come back on and do more man. Hope everything is fine too. I wondered if you ever thought if these could be convexed? Or, is the steel to thin near the edge?

  • hey blunt ,, just wanted to tell you it is my experience that your test of blade edges on cord board is spot on ,,,, it can kill an edge faster than actual wood , i have used blades on cord board in my younger days ,,,, a lot of use [15yrs],, my brotherinlaw made cord board for years . he told me that the ingredients in cordboard . mainly the glue , hardens and does a number on blades ,, so ,, thanks for the comparison test , i love them al the pal
