I've tried 4 times to grow via Hydroponics but the plants begin dying after 2 to 3 weeks after taking them out of my Coco Coir soil.
What deficiency I'm missing?
Your guess is better than mine.

  • sad song for a sad garden hope you sorted your problem out.

  • yes I did. I found out that trying to keep the ph level at a steady level was the problem. I left it alone after adjusting the PH the first time. Then it fluctuated for a day or 2 but leveled out for the next 2 weeks.

    Thanks

  • IF your using actual NFT, you might try leaving the watering going as long as there is Light out. Also, with the Dixie Cup method your using, are you sure the roots are getting wet? Personally, I would add either a small dripline to the tops. If you were using netcups, I would add sprayers inside. Also, if your starting them in Coco, put that coco right inside those cups with your plant, they look a bit young and tender for harsh transplant of soil matter. Also 1/2 Strength Nutreints for 2 wks

  • Thanks I'll try that. One side note, I have two that are growing now like weeds and haven't changed anything. The rest had died off though. Can't tell what plants they are because in the process of putting this on the back burners removed the lables. I've been growing various plants from different countries but have check the zones for compatibility.

  • and the Nutrient you name seem to be Bloom (high in Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K)...your plants wont need them till they flower, you should be using something with high Nitrogen (N)and low Phosphorus and Potassium for vegetative growth or you EC levels will be really hi and the salt buld up will be killing your plants off.

  • need alot more info, are you rooting in rockwool? growing from clone or seed? are you using ebb and flow or NFT (you say NFT in the video but you also say auto water ever 3 hour?)all the plants look over watered as hell and when they are that small they dont need pumping full of NPK.
