Cadillac ATS

Cadillac Has Finally pulled the silk off of the highly anticipated ATS compact, designed to shatter opinions, sales records and memories of the past Cadillac compacts the Catera, Cimmaron, and tha SAAB based BLS.

I am pretty certain that the ATS is the lightest vehicle in it's class...you said it was "thirty pounds" more.

@fp3shb it isnt check autoblog it weighs in at 3,400Lbs the BMW 328i is 3,362Lbs

@CarConvos Autoblog is filled with incompetence. According to the press release from Cadillac, it weighs under 3,400 lbs.

"The Cadillac ATS is a new expression of Cadillac’s Art & Science execution philosophy, built on a foundation of driving dynamics and mass efficiency. It is the most agile and lightweight Cadillac, with one of the lowest curb weights in the segment – less than 3,400 pounds (1,542 kg)."

I think the statement from GM is more reliable than Autoblog. I am not a fan of them.

@fp3shb Note that Cadillac said "One of the lightest cars in the segment" this means it is NOT the lightest and is probably arround 3,400Lbs

The ATS is one gorgeous car! It's taken Cadillac a long time to get it right and now I think the future is looking very promising for Cadillac. A car America can truly be proud of. I see they have brought back the original Cadillac moto with a new spin. "the new standard of the world"
