Rachel Joy Scott (August 5, 1981 - April 20, 1999).
Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, after having first shot Rachel in her leg, asked the wounded girl if she still believed in God, she had answered "Yes, you know I do", provoking a second, fatal shot to her head at point-blank range. Ending her life.
Rachel left behind six diaries and several essays about her belief in God and how she wanted to change the world through small acts of kindness. Shortly before her death, she wrote an essay for school stating, "I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion then it will start a chain reaction of the same."
Rachel Joy Scott was posthumously given the 2001 National Kindness Award for Student of the Year by the Acts of Kindness Association. In 2006, the National Education Association (NEA) of New York awarded Darrell Scott and Rachel's Challenge the Friend of Education Award.

Sad. Good tribute. But, nobody really know if she was asked those questions, it would be impossible to know exactly, it probably just happened so fast that witnesses only remember half of it

It is a very nice tribute, though I beleive that poem to being a bit shortened since there is more she wrote in it. ;-)
Else than that I enjoyed the song, the written words andd all the pictures. I even saw some few pictures I hadn´t seen before too, that´s nice. :-)

3 days ago "Rachel's Challenge" came to my school. I've never been bullied, but I'm one of the "chubby" girls and I'm very conscious about every look I get. During this assembly, not one eye was dry. All those perfect popular kids that I thought had no substance openly cried. They let their emotions out, and it was all for Rachel. God knows she deserves their love.
Rachel Joy Scott. Once that name has come into your life you will forever be a better person.
