i was there.stevie wonder opened. at the Stones encore, Stevie came back out along with the cake. Confetti rained from the vents all over MSG. I still have a bagful of it. They sang Uptight and Satisfcation together. Very satisfying to say the least.

HaHa , I too was at the Spectrum show. Best concert I ever saw. Got right by the side of the stage. Awesome!!

Supsailor1885 appears to be correct. I checked the tour dates and the Stones played Madison Square Garden on July 25 & 26th 1972 and Mick's birthday is July 26, 1943. I doubt they would have celebrated it a month later. It also shows 7/26/72 was the end of the tour...no August.
