Yeah, there are so many more awesome bands. For instance Gojira. Know them? Every Gojira album is good, and it isn't like that shitty screamo poser metal.

@squeezeslemons Saw them supporting Tool in Nottingham back in 05, that was what REALLY switched me onto them. The double pedals on Brann's kit made my entire rib cage vibrate. So so so insanely good.

in my opinion this is the best metal band since metallica and iron maiden. all the other new shit like trivium and bmfv is all about scream and technic. mastodon is the only "new" metal band that i can listen to. and i do everyday!;)

I have no clue why, but I can watch LQ videos of Mastadon playing live and still enjoy the hell out of them.
