@friendlee2007 you forgot 05-06, heat smashed on the bulls 4-2, heat demolish the nets,eastern conference finals heat up 3-2, wade gets sick before game 6 but still plays and makes the game winning shot. Finals, heat down 0-2, game 3 down 13 points in the fourth quarter, wade takes on the mavs by himself then beats them not only in that game but also the next three, thus winnig the chapionshipand finals mvp.

04-05 season, heat got shaq, shaq went out in like the second game of the year. They struggled, win one, lose one. Wade decides he's going to take over, only a second year guy. Heat go on crazy win streaks. Eastern conference finals, wade goes out late game 5 with injury, heat up 3-2, game 6 wade doesnt play, heat gets blown out by 30. Pistons wins game 7.

Heat 02-03 season 25-57, Cavs 02-03 17-65. Heat had no fans beginning of season, no exposure, even though Wade was sensational. Cavs bullcrap team but most exposure ever for a rookie. Cavs finish with some 30 wins, heat 42, went to playoffs, beat hornets and put up a great fight (4-2) against best team that year, pacers. Only hype i see is Lebron. Melo took nuggets with 20 some odd wins the year before to playoffs. Lebron coudn't do crap but got ROY.

No one hyped Wade up. Everyone was on Lebron's and Melo's nuts before they even came into the league. Wade had no spotlight his rookie season, they asked him to state/spell his first and last name at allstar weekend for the rookie sophmore game. He wasn't considered a top 3 rookie that year until he literally took the Heat to the playoffs, hit a game winner and went to the second round. Converese gave him a $500,000 contract while lebron got a 100 mil. Wade created his own hype.

i guess you're right, but wade is far from over-rated. because of lebron, he is disregarded a lot.
