  • I love guitarists that can really play! So many musicians downplay virtuosos when they are unable to play with such skill I think. For example, some may say things like, "oh, he's playing too many notes" or "he's just showing off" and the like. But I think players with exceptional skill, such as Tommy, are better appreciated when we just appreciate them as they are. Look at him go! I can feel the groove and his choices are so tasteful in my opinion. Very fun guitarist to be inspired from.

  • What an awesome song this is. This Larivee doesn't hold a note to his Maton's though.

  • "And the crowd went mild" Tommy said at 2:52... Funny guy!

  • This pussy boy needs guitar lessons from me. I'm fucking Kenny Powers

  • @slennie 1:04 just proves that he is, in fact (contrary to some belief) a human.

  • @guitartec No probs wish I could say the same to you.

  • @icemanisdangerous Okay, thanks for adding your comment.

  • the guitar tommy plays is completely irrelevant. I always think it's funny and stupid how people obsess over it. Tommy's guitars sound good because tommy is playing them. 80-90 per cent of a player's tone is in his hands not the wood. you think if you played that guitar it'd sound like that? not a chance.

  • @guitartec Silly thing to say. Highly irrelevant.

  • Yeah, thanks! The Larivee also doesn't appear to have any mileage. It has that bright "new" sound that his workhorse Matons and Kalamazoo seem to be past. Hopefully it'll mellow before he gives it his first "Initiation" before doing Mombasa. :)

  • @guitartec Keep in mind that this is strictly an acoustic instrument and has no electronics to "help" out, and not to mention that what you are hearing was picked up through a $10 microphone on a digital camera, kthxbi
