"reneging on the "right to life" concept"

I don`t believe I do renege on my staunchly held "right to life" beliefs.

As I said previously it would only seem fair and just that EVERBODY is entitled to to an inherent "right to life" from conception to natural death.

But in the case of extreme criminals who GROSSLY ABUSE this right, such as serial murderers, terrorists, child killers etc ..it would seem perfectly reasonable for their hitherto "right to life" to be permanently forfieted.

While it's nice that your failure to see leaves you privy to reneging on the 'right to life' concept; your distinctions are entirely arbitrary and reek of hypocrisy. There is a reason that your line of reasoning isn't upheld in our justice system.

Thank your god for that, lol.

You're implying that the death penalty, in any way, effects offenders and what they do. Lest you're insisting that we need to kill everyone that is imprisoned. Either way, your position is not sound.

" "They are too dangerous to keep alive" is not justice"

The point you seemed to have missed is that, apart from being dangerous (as proven by the fact that they`re convicted murderers) these people have,at least in my opinion, lost their inherent "right to life" which I believe begins at conception.
It is obviously civilized to exercise tolerance and forgiveness to a reasonable degree. But I fail to see why a multiple killer who had no valid excuse, should deserve anything other than death.

"People who *aren`t *convicted criminals are a "threat" to others."

So are you suggesting here that convicted criminals (specifically murderers) don`t ever re-offend..be it in or out of prison?

People who *aren't* convicted criminals are a "threat" to others. That, thankfully, is not a basis upon which it is viable to kill someone.

"They're too dangerous to keep alive" is not justice - it isn't even rational thinking. You use enough movie logic, you should know this much at least.

Half the reason America is in the trouble it's in is because of preemptive action on "perceived threats".

Pure, unbridled ignorance.

As to what I was asserting.. That was simple enough too. IE ; convicted criminals who get the eath penalty are no longer a threat to *anyone*...

Are you denying that there are murders within prisons..it`s a simple enough question?
