In the last Gubernatorial debate, a family asked Mr. Branstad why he supports a constitutional amendment to overturn the freedom to marry and deny protections to families like theirs. His answer was disappointing in its lack of compassion and clarity.

Governor Chet Culver, on the other hand, provides a strong contrast.

  • This shows why Branstad must NOT be elected. He's a bigot and he can't see that all families matter. Gov. Culver, on the other hand, realizes that all families are important and therefore must be recognized. Go Culver!
