For the first time, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra has played in St Petersburg, Russia's historic cultural capital. And not just at any old theatre -- the MSO was privileged to perform in the world famous Mariinsky Theatre, the birthplace of some of the 21st Century's best-known operas, ballets and orchestral works.
Produced by ABC Australia
Distributed by Journeyman Pictures
Those two Soviet defectors in the Orchestra are most probably Jews. You can just sense it from how they speak.
