When laying floor tiles, you always want to maintain direction as planned. If done correctly, then this can prevent you from becoming cornered of boxed-in by your tiles. Working your way out towards the door, here's an idea of how to plan tile direction for your specific tiled room. Distributed by Tubemogul.
You don't need to back-butter small tiles, as long as you mix your mortar properly. Too dry and it won't stick, but wet, as I show you in the other videos, and you won't have any problems.
