Minolta burst onto the scene in 1985 with their new in-body auto-focus camera system and changed the modern SLR camera forever.this camera is better than any digital for quality photos ,it is pure genius.

I have one, but one day left to work, 2 years ago after buy it, perhaps in 1986.
I repared it - very expensive - and 3 moths later the same problem again.
Never more a expensive reflex!

@airatak Terrible AF is still much better than no AF ;) Respect Minolta, they used to rule over Canon/Nikon back then. And AF is ok with primes, it get's slow with zooms only.

don't forget folks that this camera was produced in 1985, af then for this camera was blistering quick and precise and all the other camera manufactures where stunned by this and spent billions in the catchup .
