Community Safety Partnership TV (CSP TV) was launched in March 2007 as a new, inventive way for the partners to keep the public informed about all the work that is being achieved to reduce crime, build safer communities and make people feel safer.
CSP TV is a network of 14 plasma screens located throughout Medway providing a direct route of communication to the heart of Medway's communities with screen locations ranging from shopping centres, sports centre receptions to schools.
The network combines locally filmed footage with national campaign material and daily news, sport and weather bulletins; this piece of footage shows a Medway Trading Standards advert about underage sales being created in a local store that hosts a screen.
The partnership is formed of Medway Council, Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue Service and private sector organisations. For further information about the partnership and to view the CSP TV media player visit www.medway.gov.uk/communitysafety.
