Da sitzt ein kleiner Pandabär,

er streift dort frei im Wald umher.

Bei uns da gibt es ihn- na wo?
And here at us he lives --ha where?
Na klar doch nur im Zoo.

Er ist so niedlich anzuseh`n,
He looks so nice,
sein Fell ist schwarz und weiß.
His pelt ist black and white.
Sein Kopf ist groß, die Ohren klein,
His head is big, the ears small
so muss ein Panda sein.
So a Panda has to be.

Und an einem Tag da frisst er,
At one day he eats
ganz viel Bambusholz.
Very much bamboo
Doch das macht er meistens abends
He make it most in the evening
und auch in der Nacht.,
and in the night also.
Denn bei Tag da schläft er meistens,
Because at day he sleeps most time
nicht wie wir bei Nacht.
And not like us at night.

Da sitzt ein kleiner Pandabär,

Warum hat er sich hingesetzt,

Wenn er frisst, dann meist im Sitzen,
If he eats he do it most by sitting
sitzt auf seinem Po.

Kann nicht auf zwei Beinen stehen,
can´t stay on two legs
das ist bei ihm so.
that´s so at him.
Hält das Fressen in den Pfoten,
Hold his feed between his pows
denn es schmeckt auch so.
because it´s tasting even too.
