  • Thanks PS.

    On the Skylighter website,

    in the Projects Plans page,

    in the Rockets section,

there's a Nozzleless BP Motor project which is perfectly usable for 3/4 inch ID motors.

    Great, good lifting, consistent motors,

and can be made on standard BP tooling.

  • Nice tests Ned, i`d be happy with any of those breaks :)

Did you use dark flake in the slow flash? how many layers of pasting on the shells?

  • @colspyro

I use 809 american dark al in the booster,

and the total taped layer thickness is about 1/16".

  • Thanks for the comments, guys.

For some reason I get an "error" message when I try to post anything in here with percentages or numbers, so it's tough to give any spec's for anything.

I'll be giving some details on Passfire if that helps at all.

    Sorry,

    ned

  • Awesome Ned ! its like the rocket " Zink 910 Silberweide(need a license)" in germany but yours look much better ;-)

And you engine flew very well :)

Can you make a tutorial for 1lb Rockets with fuel etc ?

    regrads

  • Very nicely break on those shells! It seems to me the last two got the hardest breaks.

If you add some info in the description module, it should work fine, id like very much to see some info on the fuel comp and different break charges

    SITL inc.

  • Nice tests ned!

Shells lifting on 1lb rockets? What is a fuel composition?

  • Damn thats good bp. I've never seen a 3" with a pure bp rice hull break do that well. I guess it also helps to be using thin hemis and a wasp.

  • nice breaks and stars :) i think slow flash wins. may I ask comp of slow flash?

  • Nice duration for those stars, may I ask what composition they are?
