  • hey, on this video i am using the hole in the battery tray. This however gives a forward CG and no capability to move it back. The best thing to do is to make up a small wooden tray for the rudder. For some reason the rudder trays wernt included in the earlier kits, but they will be from the next shipment. If you will be doing very little 3d and prop hanging then the battery tray hole is fine (as you can see in this video)

  • im using a 14x7 on mine and 3 cells

  • Hi, while watching this, there were times when the plane seemed to fly properly. Then you must have got some bad interference and the plane just started to dance about. Lucky it didn't crash.......

But really, that's amazing....... I'm still trying to take off on the flight sim lol.

  • hey oli, putting it too its limits again i see lol. i bought the yak, only had about 5 flights with it atm but im bloody loving it lol. doesnt seem to have much power in the cold because the lipo seems to die a lot faster and not give as much power to the motor. cya later mate!

  • Hello.

I had this plane too, but unfortunately its chrashed now... But I plane to by another one.

My setup was: Hyperion Z3019-12 motor, with Hyperion 50A ESC, APC 13x6,5 @ Xoar 13x5 props, HS65HB's and HS-5085MG on the rudder. CF landin gear, and Spektrum gear.

  • Hi Ollie, can you tell me where the rudder servo is mounted on yours please. I seem to have the plate missing that is shown in the manual that sits behind the 3rd crossmember, but there is a square hole cut in the battery tray, do you use that one? thanks

  • hi there, can you tell me exactly what you are running in the plane (motor, esc, lipo(mah)

    thanks,

    Jarred
