I'm from Brazil but i'm moving to Grand Rapids, MI, USA. I was afraid for my Yorkie because here where we live is too hot... but looking for your yorkies... I think that my Nessie (this is her Name) will be fine playing in snow! She is 4.409 lbs.

@flavuabgs, thanks for the nice comments. I love Nessie! Yes, she does remind me of Jillie. Jillie is the same weight, and they have the same look in their eyes. Yes, some Yorkies love the snow -- and all of them can learn to tolerate it. Just introduce them to the cold slowly. A few minutes a day at first, and make it fun. Have treats or toys to distract her. When the snow falls, get a good coat and some fleece booties. If you do move, contact me and I'll give you more advice.

Ha ha, Spikey. I'm obviously older than you. That song was as popular as Justin Bieber's stuff in my day. :p Besides, not many other Alaska songs to choose from.

I've heard some Yorkies change colors for two years. The Yorkie in this vid never changed. He's still black and tan. It's not standard, but I like it.

Ha ha. I have one of those too, a puppy that I'll be introducing to snow this winter!
The Yorkie in the coat at the end was a 13-year-old 4-pounder. He did pretty darn well in the snow and cold, but 10 minutes was about his limit for severe cold walks, so I'd just warm him up in my coat until he was ready for another 10 minutes. :)
