Concordia University is pleased to unveil the newest addition to Sea Foam Stadium, unofficially known around campus already as "The Foam Dome," the bubble was inflated over the field in a matter of a few hours on the evening of November 18th, 2009. This video time-lapse is made from 8,458 photos taken by a webcam throughout the three-day construction and inflation. The photos were taken every 10 seconds in real-time, allowing for a flip-book style of viewing. The new "bubble" atop Sea Foam Stadium 1 provides a visible reminder and focal point for Concordia University school spirit, enhancing campus life for all students A high-res photo gallery has been uploaded to Flickr documenting the progress made during the three day process to fully install the dome. Numerous student-athletes, students, coaches and various members of the CSP staff and faculty family assisted in getting everything ready to go. The athletic department and the University are grateful for all those who were able to lend a hand.
