ROFLMAO no way! its not the team... its the hard working players. people like iginla and phaneuf worked hard to be on the cover. and since calgary is populated with hockey fans, ea sports will probably be able to sell more.

is this gna have all star weekend like nba, i hope it does, it needs it
like the speed tests and slap shots and w.e should be included, and they should have a season and playoff mode together so its realistic xD

Yah but the thingt thats weird is that even tho i am a Flames fan, they used Iginla for the 04 cover , and, 5 years later they use aother Flame, I mean you have to admit, they should use anothe team they havent used yet right?

I heard that the defence for nhl 09 will be sick.Like in 08 offence was sick since we get full control of our players stick but my brother told me that he saw some trailer and it said that defence will be much more realistic since you will be able to control and experience new defensive movement.

In finnish cover there will be Valtteri Filppula (I guess), 'cause he won the staley cup (of course with other red wings players). Would be nice to see Timonen or some goalie in the cover. In there north america I'm sure that it will be Phaneuf.
