@ballademaker Thanks for the information/help. Along with the user manual, I even have the DVD tutorial that came with it. I can tell it's a nice machine with a lot of features. I've never been 1 for manuals, LOL. I just figured out all my keyboards & other gear by trial & error/heavy use. I guess that's not really an option with the AW16G & it gives me fits! I wonder if the multi-track/recording workstations made by Tascam, Korg, Roland, etc, are easier to use & or more user friendly?
@gjc82071 manual 101 get that to aw16 g and you are on the track again and you find lots of info from the orginal manual on 217 pages its to find at The Dijonstock yamaha a forum for user of aw 16 g and other yamaha mixers. like aw1600 ok hope this help a littel, my self is half away to manage to make my first album with use of aw16 g , so it going slow but in right direction. aw16 g demands patinet with you i see that but when i figured out the functions it will be great
@ballademaker I bought my aw16g over 5 years ago. It's a nice dust collector. I couldn't really figure out how to use it. It's not very "user friendly". BTW, I'm fairly experienced with electronic gear. I have a Korg Triton, Yamaha Motif 6 & several other synths, Roland XV5080 sound module, Alesis Sound modules, and a ½ dozen SFX processors. In the early 90's I even earned a certificate in audio engineering. I don't know. Maybe I am just lazy, but I can't get the damn thing work right.
can you explain how you do this song in recording mode with aw16g keyboard recording + microphone recording? and how you burn it ?? thanks:) i am to get this aw16g now:)) want to quickly get going to make much music and get burn it and sell it:)) i play keyboards enjoy to listen to my work here.
@alwaystoolate1 I am working with the AW1600 (nearly identical) and the recording sound is perfect, but if your input signal is too low, use extra pre amps.
What is wrong with your sound and what do you record?
