1969 Texas International Pop Festival - Home Movies (no audio)

8-30, 8-31, 9-1 1969

Mostly crowd scenes, sparklers at night, look closely and you can see Santana.

Nothing special, but I thought in honor of the upcoming 40th anniversary of the Festival (it was two weeks after Woodstock!) I thought I would share this. If someone wants to add a soundtrack let me know and I'll send them the AVI file.

I was there and still can't believe I didn't take a camera with me. We slept on the ground at the lake and bathed in it, too. I remember a lot about it but the response of the crowd to Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin really stands out in my mind.

My god look how slim everyone is !, where did it all go wrong. Today you would not be able to see the stage because of all the fatties blocking the view .
