  • Just caught this scene from an episode of "The Patty Duke Show," on a retro-cable channel. The song "Foolin' Around," by the Eggheads, was not the orignal tune used, but this cool piece actually works even better & it highlights what a hip swinging chick Carol Shelyne was. The actor who plays "Richard," on the show is just hilarious, because he was trying to teach Carol's character how to dance!

  • @stp88661 yeah, i edited this, and i agree naturally, carol was cool

  • do you have a link @gvxrlole? can't find it

  • @gvxrlole thanks for that, classic, totally missed it....

  • @blacflag There's a YouTube video of the Eggheads playing this song live. One by one they each pull their Beatle wigs off revealing their bald "eggheads" and say their names. One of them says his name is "Lucky." That must be the Lucky Lucardi you mentioned.

  • Thanks for posting! Your edit captures an entire era in 2 minutes!

I forgot how great Patty's boyfriend Richard was. The Shindig "girl with the horn rimmed-glasses" was, and IS, a turn on and she was always captivating to watch!

Hey blacflag! Glad to see that this wonderfully re-edited video of a scene from the Patty Duke show, featuring the music of the Eggheads & that energetic hip-swinging chick, "Carole Shelyne" is back on You-Tube. WTF happened! I tuned in a while ago & I find out that the video account had been terminated. Anyway, glad to see that it's back! I really do enjoy viewing this particular video. Keep up the great work!

  • @fatpizzaman - yeah, i'll see how it goes, i've been gettin approval from some garage bands, but you can never tell with the majors, moody, they've bought up all sorts of small labels in the last couple decades, you don't know what their claiming to 'own' these days....wouldn't be so bad if they were paying these artists and promoting the music, but it's usually just used to throw their wieght about...........

  • @blacflag don't put it on private. You aren't doing anything wrong. I have never known Sony Music to attack the users on YouTube. There is only one major record company that has issues with people sharing their music and that is Warner Music because there are a bunch of greedy money-grubbing bastards in the top ranks.

  • @fatpizzaman - hmm, i should maybe put it on private then, arista are owned by sony, who randomly attack users here....i have this original 45 on the bell label as it happens, i've also heard another couple garage versions, songwriting is credited to lucky lucardi, but no idea who he is......and know nothing else about the band
