to tell the truth, almost any fighter would be dazed after that knee, frank threw all his weight into that flying knee, lesnar was dazed for half a second, then basically finished the fight. Im not saying brocks chin is the best but its definetly not bad, i think he can take a punch

Yeah but there was probably only a 5 pound difference between GSP and Alves, Lesnar probably had 20+ pounds on Mir, and thats a significant amount when your going to lay on a guy for 10 minutes. Sooner or later the Mixed aspect of Mixed Martial Arts is going to catch up to Lesnar and his only Martial Art of wrestling isnt going to be enough to defeat his opponents.

agreed mir is talented! i'm not saying that he isn't. however, like you said every fighter has a plan on how to effectively beat their opponent... just like gsp didn't go into his fight thinking he was going to stand and trade punches with alves! gsp wanted to fight on the ground that's where it went and he won... you can what if that too... if gsp and alves stood toe to toe and traded alves would have ko'ed gsp! BUT it's not what if... it's what HAPPENS that counts!

Mir is talented, regardless of what you think, his techniques however, were nullified by Lesnars massive weight advantage and tedious game plan, which is to take the fight to the ground and lay on the guy for the whole round. If the fight would have stayed standing Mir would have knocked Lesnar out. Lesnar even said that the knee Mir threw had him dazed.
