The end makes ya' wonder if the door was locked... I get the significance of the vid though. In church camp we did all kinds of crazy things, that stuff is just going to happen but we learn from it.

Is this an actual recording you made of yourselves? 17s in it sound's like the piper plays (the notes) f-d-c yet his fingers don't move...

i noticed that too when editing... but by that time it was too late to go back and fix it. The piper was a newbie to bagpipes, had only been playing a couple of months.

It gets worse a little later on when I show the piper again.

Oh, to answer you question, no it wasn't a recording I did myself. While I usually prefer to have the sound being produced by the actual instrument shown, time did not permit it.

@724375939 Aye, the rock is painful to the traditional ears, and the bagpipes are painful to the Sassenach.  But I admire the message of the video.

The piper's pipes look like they are rosewood.

Not very good wood. Cracks from the moisture and heat very easily. He should get blackwood, or if money is a serious issue, get polypropylene pipes. They still sound good and are often tuned better.
