A volcanic eruption in Iceland sent an ash plume high into the atmosphere, the winds carried the affected area to Northern Europe, shutting down air traffic over Scandinavia and the UK on this evening. While the ash was too scattered to be directly visible over Denmark, it did give the sunset a more red colour than normal for this time of year. No image enhanching has been used on this video, so the colours were as depicted in this video.

  • A magic trick, if you wear sunglasses at sunset, it makes it appear pink/orange/purple/red, from experience, but with the naked eye it's a yellow-orange ona non summer day

  • Very Pretty!
