If you haven't gotten an anwser yet, you can buy an SC8 from a hobby shop. That's where I got mine.

also keep this in mind the slayer is1/10 scale and the SC8 is 1/8 scale........... that is why the SC8 has bigger motor and the reason why the price is so different between the two, SC8 $544 and Slayer about $375!!!!!!!!!

I thought they were around 600$ where did you get 300? is there a non RTR version(without radio) that costs 300?

well the first aspect you have to look at is do you want nitro or electric.

how many clubs are racing these bad boys. thinking about stepping it up to 1/8 scale. hell just wanna get back to race them all together have a nitro rustler dont see many races with them seen alot of rc10gt2. my old 10t did good racing.
