Part 15: Beach Party Fun

Joe: (wraps her arm around her waist and makes out with Demi)

Afternoonish
Demi's POV
I woke up with a pounding in my head. Okay, maybe drinking wasn't my best ideas, but it did keep my brain occupied. For some reason though, I heard breathing that wasn't mine and my head laying on someone's chest. SHIT! I opened my eyes to see Joe sleeping peacefully.
End of POV

Demi: (quickly sits up making the bed move)
Joe: (grumbles) Stop moving.
Demi: Joe!
Joe: (his eyes pop open) What?!
Demi: (holds her head in pain) Why am I in you room, and more importantly, in your bed?
Joe: (smirks) You couldn't keep your hands off me.
Demi: (eyes widen) W-what?
Joe: You were like (in a girl's voice) Joey! Let's have some fun.
Demi: And why didn't you push me away?!
Joe: Oh I was....
Demi: Then why am I sleeping next to you.
Joe: (decides not to tell her about the make out session) You wanted to sleep next to me.
Demi: (lowers her voice) Oh...
Joe: (sits up) Why did you drink?
Demi: (ignores the question) Forget this ever happened. (quickly runs out Joe's room and goes to her room)

Around night time-ish
Demi: (eating an apple while watching TV)
Joe: (walks in with just a towel around his waist) Do you think you can leave the house for the night?
Demi: (not looking at him) Why?
Joe: Because (smiles at his thought) Ashley (G) is coming over.
Demi: (gives him a dirty look) Ewww.
Joe: Like you haven't had sex before.
Demi: (rolls her eyes) Yeah, whatever.
Joe: You already know where you're staying?
Demi: (nods and turns back to her apple and TV) Why do you care if I even have a place to stay?
Joe: Just curious. So where are you staying?
Demi: Again, why do you care?
Joe: (shrugs)
Demi: (goes to her room and comes out with a suit case)
Joe: You know you can come back tomorrow.
Demi: (goes to the kitchen to grab water before she leaves) Yeah I know, but I might be out for a few days.
Joe: Where?
Demi: (opens the door) For me to know, and you to never find out (slams the door shut)

With Demi a few hours later
Demi: (knocks on the door)
Camilla: (opens the door and smirks) Well isn't it my little Demi?
Demi: (laughs) Shut up, are you going to let me in?
Camilla: (opens the door wider)
Demi: (looks at Camilla in disbelief) A party? Really? (looks at the people dancing crazy)
Camilla: (closes the door) So when do you get back on tour?
Demi: (sees someone and smiles) In a week. A couple of concerts here though
Camilla: (sees where she's staring) Cool and he still asks about you.
Demi: (looks at Camilla) I wasn't looking.
Camilla: (rolls her eyes) Suuuuureee. (leaves to go dance)
Demi: (puts her suit case in Camilla's room, puts on a bikini going for a night swim, after all Camilla did live in a beach house; sitting on the sand watching the waves)
???: (sits beside her) Haven't seen you in a while.
Demi: (turns to ???) What are you doing out here? (looks back to the ocean)
???: I could ask you the same question.
Demi: (sighs)
???: So I heard about Trace. (takes a hold of her hand) I'm sorry.
Demi: (trying to ignore their hands that are holding) It's alright I guess.
???: How's Johnny holding up?
Demi: I left with Ashley for a while.
???: Demi, will you at least look at me?
Demi: (looks at ???) Happy?
???: (leans in) Very.
Demi: (sees how close they are and leans back) No, I can't.


Demi's POV

There he finally was. My best friend since 4th grade. He was there every time yet I picked Trace over him when he told me he loved me. He drove away that day really pissed, and after that I never saw him again.

And there he was again. I did like him, but then I guess I fell for Trace even more though. I left him heartbroken. And here we are, on a beach, at night, with a full moon shining down on us and him leaning in for a kiss.

I could've got up and ran. But I didn't. My heart was saying to finally give him a chance, but my brain was saying no.

And you've guessed it. I kissed him back.

End POV

???: I've missed you Demi.
Demi: (smiles) I've missed you too Mitchel.

Nawww, I'm kidding.. hahaha but wouldn't you guys hate me if I did end the series like that though? :P
