World's Smartest Pit Bull Playing With Jenni

Boldog Hellboy (who has an AKC Tracking Dog title and a schutzhund Tracking 2 title) is plenty clever. He is obsessed with the jenni (sometimes called a "catmill") and will play with it by himself without being hooked up for about 2 hours at a time. I discovered that he has figured out that if he could put his rope up on the arm (like it is when he runs) then he thinks he could "make it go" like when he is hooked up. I taped him yesterday while he was trying to get his rope up on the jenni himself. That's pretty damn smart! He does this for about 20 minutes till he get frustrated that he can't get it hooked up there. Then he puts his front leg through the chain and pulls it along that way till tired.

BTW: This is one of those pieces of equipment that the ignorant say pit bull owners "force" their dogs to run on! :)
