@dusan9327 car can handle 10 psi stock 10-1 12v mk3 vr. depends on the condition of the engine as well. at 11 psi the stock fuel pump starts to run lean

Hey Im interested in doing my own VRT on a mk3. I was wondering would the stock engine internals hold up a turbo runin 8 - 10 psi so I can use the car as a daily driver?

On stock internals with standard compression, you can run max 6-8 psi.
If you lower the compression to 1:8, you can run over 14 PSI.
I'm running 16 PSI at the moment and I use the car every day to go to work :)

invest in a better clutch...

clutch is not dead, it's just spinning the tires because of the snow...
