i grew up with mgs, i played mgs1 like 20 times in the old days, and ofcourse 2 and 3 too, when i played mgs4 for the first time i almost cried from epicness when he returned to shadow moses LOL, no homo.

i think someone who didnt play it since childhood and doesnt have such nostalgic value to it doesnt really get so emo at MGS4 but i did lol. also at the final boss fight against liquid with the mgs1 bars and the rex vs ray fight i had butterflies xDD

JAPAN is not so good at 3D ENGINE DEVELOPMENT so far, but they need to have their own 3D ENGINE to compete against BEST of WEST such as Crytek Engine 3 (Frankfurt, Germany) vs DICE Frostbite 2 (Stockholm, Sweden) vs Epic Games Unreal Engine 3 (Cary, North Carolina, U.S.) vs id Tech 5 (Dallas, Texas, U.S.)! This is WHY that JAPAN don't make much FPS on same level as those in WEST! I wished them good luck on that!! >=)

@AchwaqKhalid meh as long as you can distinguish things it will be great , metal gear solid 1 if you look at it now it sucks at graphics but still has that feel and atmosphere to it , thats more important in a game not the 8000 resolution mega textures or the realtime dx 11 shadows , tesselation , i like mgs 1 2 and 3 graphics to alot more than newer games not because of the graphics .

I am a very knew MG fan. For some reason when growing up I missed the whole MG series. Now that the HD collection game out I am addicted and have become a huge fan. I went and got MGS1 on PSN, and MGS4 so my collection is complete. MGS has become my favorite series ever. Before this the Uncharted Series held the stop, but it has since been surpassed. What truly amazing is how the older MGS game hold up, with the updated visuals, each game could of sold for $60 on it's own today and still be bet
