they probably made this sandwich not only for obtaining a world record but also for charity, in fact the boys that are removing the aluminium cover wear a T-shirt where AVIS is written on. AVIS is a popular association of charity in italy that deals with blood donations... probably they made this sandwich to promote blood donations among the people.
