Canon VIXIA iVIS HF S11 full 1080p HD test

Edited with trial software hence the watermark. I don't know what the music is but I love it - if there's a copyright issue let me know. Shot on cine mode 30p with UV filter, lens hood and tripod counterweight as a poor man's steadicam..

question! so when u record videos! and when u plug tha camera to tha computer by using a USB cord! all ur files come up on tha comp that u recorded right? and if so what file type are they? and say if i record on full 1080P HD do i need to buy a special blank DVD to burn a HD video clip onto it? thanks!!

@Badboykilla96 The files are .MTS and they are openable with the OEM software that comes with the camera or Mac Final cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. I haven't tried burning a DVD yet, but I guess that you would have to export it out through editing software and the programme will format it.

wow this vid is insane! Thanks for posting this. Did you use a firewire cable to transfer to your pc? Also, how big is this file when you uploaded it to youtube? Just wondering how long it took to upload a file this long. Thanks!

I used USB between the camera and the PC. It probably took about 10mins to upload, Can't remember how big the file was, sorry...

That is an insanely nice camera for the money...absolutely blows away my Sony. I might have to take a trip to Best Buy for one of these. Very Very Nice!!! As you have shown in this video, one could realistically use this camera to capture some nice commercials, or movie shorts. Very nice job.

I think it is good video quality, but it doesn't look much different than some HD Flip video that I've seen.
