A very touching performance of "When It's Sleepy Time Down South" by Yoshio Toyama and the Dixie Saints (with Lucien Barbarin on trombone) at the Christopher Inn on August 5, 2011. After the devastation in Japan, it meant a lot for Yoshio and his band to come back to New Orleans and it meant even more, I think, for the audience to see them back. And watch out for a cameo by Selma Heraldo, Louis Armstrong's 88-year-old neighbor! Video shot by Ricky Riccardi, author of "What a Wonderful World: The Magic of Louis Armstrong's Later Years" and the Louis Armstrong blog at dippermouth.blogspot.com.
