The 1936 D was rated at 42 HP. This D puts out 47 HP both on the belt dyno and PTO dyno.

Wonderful running D, sounds so familiar, you need the Deere on the little gas tank!! (Decal)

The tank did have that logo hand painted by my father who passed away many years ago. The tank developed a leak and was cleaned out and repaired. Part of the cleaning process removed the old paint. I used to have to point out that it was hand painted most people thought it was a decal. It was a sad day when it was removed. The logo on the sides were hand painted also. The Deere in between the lettering is not really correct.
