Google Earth Imagery from 9/2007 shows 2 wrecks in the lagoon on either side of the entrance and a plane wreck in the lagoon to the north.

Ohhh i miss my Island so much but when i watch all of the movies about Fanning Island i thought i was home. Hope one day i will be there again to visit my family and see my friends. Thanks to the owner of this video. It's very kind of you to share it on you tube here, so all the people all over the world will see especially to Us or like the other they've been there b4. I was in school that time lol. Time flies so quick isn't?

Well sir, i think the wreck you talking about located on the left side of the channel when you going in the channel. I think it gone by now.

Haven't been there since I was in the Coast Guard in 1978! No one stopped by back then! ;-) There was a huge wreck there at that time resting on one of the beaches. . . doubt that's still there, is it?
